Basic Tuition

Tuition covers the school’s standard operating costs (salaries, benefits, financial obligations, utilities, insurances, routine maintenance, and supplies, etc.). In aggregate, tuition covers only about 85% of the school’s total operating expenses, leaving about 15% to be raised through fund-raising efforts.

This program offers tuition assistance (amount varies based upon funds raised each year) to newly admitted and currently enrolled students whose families qualify for financial assistance.
There is a $35 application fee to apply for financial aid.
If you have questions or concerns about the application process, you may speak with a FACTS Customer Care Representative at 866-441-4637.

Qualification for Financial Assistance

Financial aid applications and awards are handled via FACTS and are kept confidential.

Families applying for financial aid will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.  Applicants can apply online by clicking the FACTS link. Once an online application has been completed, the following information will need to be sent to FACTS to complete the application process:
  • Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
  • Copies of your last year’s W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
  • Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.

All supporting documentation can be uploaded in pdf format online.

Donor Contributions
The balance of the school’s budget and what allows us to go “above and beyond” in serving your children is raised though contributions from families and supporters. At Ashbrook Independent School, we ask all families to contribute to our Explorer Fund-Annual Campaign and to participate in our annual auction. Together, these two activities raise the balance of the funds needed to enrich our basic curriculum, offer a wide variety of electives, upgrade and maintain equipment, provide professional development for staff, and offer financial assistance for qualified families. Ashbrook is a 501c-3 non-profit, so these contributions may be tax-deductible.
